Chef Nerwan Khalife has been around baking from an early age, and we are not talking easy bake oven. Her mother was the go-to in the family for event cakes. No birthday was held without the wonderful pastries and cakes of Momma Aida Khalife (& little Nerwan). After years of self taught baking, Nerwan decided to attend the 'Hell's Kitchen' of Pastry cheffing - The French Culinary Institute. Although Bobby Flay was not leading the class Nerwan got to work with the best in the industry and learn just as the greats did. She has now brought her amazing talents to queens and soon the world. This family owned and operated business is the fruition of seven years building a client base through social media and word of mouth. The Astoria store front has help expand our reach and helped Cakes By Nerwan deliver happiness to many clients. You can be next.
